Chasing and shaping
new experiences
We’re developing new music experiences for 2027 and beyond, each with its own sound, setting, energy, theme and community. These concepts are taking shape at District 9 Records, with more details to come as plans develop.
A large-scale electronic music experience built around the energy, scale, and spectacle of EDM. Scotia UNIVERSE is being imagined as a platform for major sounds, immersive production, and a crowd that comes together for the full experience.
A winter music festival concept for Atlantic Canada, bringing après-ski atmosphere and live music together. We see an opportunity to create a distinctive seasonal event for the region, with music, winter energy, and a strong sense of place.
A warm, open-format gathering centered on Afro house, rhythm, and good energy. SOL Sessions is being developed as a welcoming space for music lovers to connect through sound, movement, and community.
A New Frequency arrived
District 9 Records is developing Scotia UNIVERSE, Après Ski Music Fest, and SOL Sessions for 2027 and beyond. Each has its own sound, setting, and community and we’re open to connecting with the right partners as these experiences take shape.
