District 9 Records helps artists prepare and distribute their music across all major streaming platforms, with added release options available through our distribution service. If you release with us, we cover the costs of the features when they apply to your release. We’ll help you understand eligibility and arrange the details. We're very transparent with our process and not afraid to share our framework.
Chart registration submits eligible releases for tracking in supported territories, helping your release count toward official chart positions. Registration usually carries an additional fee; District 9 Records covers this cost for eligible releases by our artists. We’ll confirm the territory and eligibility with you before release.
Audio fingerprinting adds a digital signature for your music to recognition databases, which can help identify where tracks are played or used and support rights protection. We cover the associated cost for our artists’ eligible releases.
Beatport is a major store for electronic music, where DJs and fans discover and buy tracks for their collections and sets. Releasing there can help your music reach listeners actively looking for new electronic sounds. District 9 Records can make eligible releases available on Beatport under our label, with royalties handled according to your artist agreement.
YouTube Content ID can identify videos that use your music and, where eligible, help collect revenue from those uses. Eligible releases may also be made available for YouTube Shorts. We cover the associated cost for our artists’ eligible releases.
Pre-release downloads can let fans pre-order music or access selected tracks before the full release date. Availability depends on the release schedule and platform requirements. If this option is available for your release, District 9 Records covers the applicable cost for the entire campaign.
Release protection helps keep your music available in stores if a distribution account or subscription changes, subject to the distributor’s terms. We cover this for our artists where the option is available and applicable.

With District 9 Records, you can access valuable distribution features, connect with new listeners, and give your music the support it deserves. Campaign fees are waived for releases distributed through District 9 Records under an active artist agreement. Any advertising budget or third-party costs will be confirmed with you in advance and covered as set out in your agreement.
